Hi, I'm Kalis

Athlete, Coach, & Mentor

My journey began on the basketball courts, where I learned early on that mental strength is just as important as physical skill…

2008 - 2013 Started my academic journey with Lamar University and became All-time leading scorer, 3x first team All-Conference, 2x All-Academic team & Babe Zaharia’s Award winner 2012

2013 - Started my 10 year career as a professional player across multiple European teams and held 43 games for Sweden’s national team

2018 - Jersey retired at Lamar University

2022 - LF2 champions with Toulouse Metropole Basket

2019 - Secured an olympic qualifying spot in the Spain vs Russia game for European championships

2024 - Retired from sports and launched the mental performance and resilience coaching practice where I help athletes to overcome mental barriers and redefine limits

2025 - Shooting the famous Swedish reality TV show “Mästarnas Mästare” alongside other iconic athletes

… But the biggest lesson of my life wasn’t taking place on the basketball court, but outside of it!

Sitting in the doctor’s office after a second opinion MRI in Sweden, all these questions swirling around, while I tried to stay focused on the doctor’s questions. I was at the peak of my career.

Individual Mental Performance Coaching

There are many coaches that help high achievers and business leaders to hone their skill and achieve great performances. I dedicate my work to helping athletes and high performing individuals by drawing on my 20+ years of experience on the court. It is this experience that helped me perfect a unique method that helps you make the most out of your natural abilities and training.

How we will work together:

STEP 1: Discovery Call: We’ll start with a call to understand if we’re a great match. It’s ok if we’re not a great fit at this point in time, I have a little black book of excellent coaches and counsellors that may serve you better! Integrity is the cornerstone of my coaching practice and I believe in aligned chemistry, to give you and myself the very best coaching experience!

This is all free and a great way to experience how we will work together.

STEP 2: Clarity: Next, we set our initial session and we dive deep into your challenges and goals. What’s preventing you from achieving your potential? I’ll help you identify your mental barriers, strengths, and areas where you can grow.

STEP 3: Your personal evolution game plan: Based on what we uncover together, I’ll develop a personalized plan for you. Whether that’s focusing on mental conditioning, resilience, or setting goals, this plan will align with your vision and needs.

Then with specific exercises and mental drills, I’ll help you strengthen your mental game. Whether that’s learning to stay focused under pressure, build confidence, or create new habits, we’ll work on techniques that will change your gameday approach forever!

Pre-game: I offer focused short pre-game sessions because in my experience those are the most critical moments in the life of any athlete and having the support can make all the difference!

Ongoing Support

 

Success is a journey. I’ll support you every step of the way, helping you stay on track, adjust the strategy as needed, but also celebrate your wins along the way.

Post-game: After every game we will have a quick debrief and ask your key takeaways. I will offer my insights and together we can set an intention for the next game.
